Owner & Trainer
Pure Connection Dog Training was set up in 2018 by Rachel Georgiades. Having owned dogs all of her life, Rachel left her career in Higher Education research management to turn her dream of working with dogs into a reality.
She is passionate about helping people to better understand and better communicate with their dogs, and improving the dog-human connection. She only uses reward-based methods in her training, and ensures that her dogs are always enjoying the learning process.
Rachel is a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, UK (APDT, UK) having completed both of their instructor course programmes and successfully passing their membership assessment in September 2017. She has been instructing at Sevenoaks and District Dog Training Society for the past 4 years.
Rachel also qualified as a Canine Hydrotherapist (Level 3 Certificate and Diploma, gained in 2016) after studying and then working at the highly regarded Greyfriars Hydrotherapy and Veterinary Referral Centre in Guildford, Surrey, and is now employed part-time at the East Sussex Canine Hydrotherapy Centre.
Rachel is currently undertaking a Canine Myotherapy Diploma at the Galen Therapy Centre and will so be able to offer canine remedial and sports massage.
